Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Palmas del Mar - Conference . Resort . Hotel! Where Paradise is just a heartbeat away.

Our utmost desire is for you to have the very best experience of Palmas del Mar through our accommodations, dining and other services. To assist us in delivering you that experience we have developed the following policies and guidelines which we respectfully request that you adhere to before and during your stay.

1. Check in starts from 2:00pm, early check in must be with prior arrangement with our room reservations and subject to room availability. Check out time is on or before 12:00 noon. For check-out before 7:00am, you may settle your bills and arrange transport service the night before. Late check out without prior arrangement with Front office will be charged accordingly. Front Office opens at 5:00am to 12mn only during weekdays and 24 hours during weekends.

2. We do not allow private parties to be held in the room.

3. Minors are not allowed to stay in a room with another adult other than the minor's parents or relatives.

4. Bringing any outside foods inside the room will be charged P250.00 corkage fee to maintain the cleanliness of our rooms. For your convenience, our restaurant & room service are open from 6:30am to 12mn and last order will be at 11:00pm. We do not allow Durian, Marang & other odorous foods to be brought inside the room.

5. An additional of P150.00/person will be charged as Entrance Fee if you exceed from the allowable no. of persons. Visitors of guests are allowed only until 10:00 P.M. After this time visitors shall be asked to register and will be charged P350 per person/night as an extra person. Please call the Front Desk for proper arrangement. For security reasons, the hotel has the right to refuse entry to the hotel premises any person/s with suspicious and unfavorable background record and hotel guest must first meet their expected visitors at the lobby.

6. All local telephone calls are free of charge. Please dial 9 + telephone number. National Direct Dialing (NDD) and International Direct Dialing (IDD) are chargeable to all guests. All long distance & overseas calls are charged by the minute plus handling fee. Please arrange with our Front Office for your long distance calls.

7. A room key is issued for the duration of your stay. Please surrender them to the Front Office upon check out. You may drop your key at the key drop box located at the Front Office for safekeeping when going out. Any missing room key will be charged P500.00.

8. Room checking and cleaning is done once a day by our housekeeping staff. Please report to Housekeeping or Front Desk any sign of disorder or untidiness in your room. Please hang on your door knob your "Make up" room sign if you want your room to be cleaned and "Do not Disturb" sign if you don't want to be disturbed during room checking.

9. Housekeeping is open from 7:00am to 8:00pm during weekdays and until 10:00pm during weekends. Please call housekeeping for services such as request of Extra beds, Towels, Extra linens, Drinking or Hot Water and others. Bringing of personal items such as: extra mattress, folding beds, tables & chairs are not allowed. A laundry rack is provided for your wet towels and swim wears, hanging them on railings outside the rooms are strictly prohibited.

10. Use of appliances from what is provided such as electric iron, hair dryers, etc. are strictly prohibited, and otherwise, additional charges on electricity will be applied. Cooking is also prohibited. We request utmost care when using appliances and supplies in the room to avoid inconvenience. We account for missing items or damages to hotel property and appropriate charges will be applied.

11. For safety reasons, guests must see to it that all Air-conditioning units and other electrical devices are switched off (except refrigerators) before leaving the room. Otherwise, the management has the right to enter the premises and put-off the air-conditioning. All electrical outlets inside the room are rated 220 volts only.

12. Do not keep valuable items inside the room. Safety Deposit Boxes (SDB) are available at the Front Office free of charge. SDB service is open from 5am to 12mn only. However, any lost safety deposit key is chargeable at P500.00 to the registered guest. The hotel will not accept liability for valuables left/lost inside the rooms.

13. Gambling, use & sale of prohibited drugs, loud or boisterous activities are prohibited. Illegal act and/ or any activities that might disturb other guests are not allowed.

14. No pets allowed. Cats & Dogs, or any other pets are strictly prohibited within the resort's premises for the safety of all guests.

15. Guest/s should be in proper swimming attire when swimming. The swimming pool is available for all hotel guests as one of our amenities. Children must be supervised at all times by their parents.

16. It is in our Lost & Found Policy that our employees are required to turn over to the Housekeeping or Front Office any item/s found unattended in the public area or guest rooms. We keep the item for a maximum of three (3) months before we give it to the finder, if still unclaimed. Food and other perishable item/s will be disposed within 24 hrs.

17. Parking is available on site and is free of charge - limited undercover parking is available. While every care is taken, we accept no responsibility for any theft or damages to vehicles that may occur while moving or parked on our premises.

18. If you contact us by email, fax and regular mail or through this website you agree to allow us to contact you in the future and that may include promotional materials regarding upcoming events, special offers or general information. We will never use your name and information for any other purpose nor provide it to any other party without your prior permission. Any communication that we may send you will include the opportunity for you to unsubscribe.

Reservations & Billing Arrangement

1. For an overnight stay we require full payment to confirm your bookings.

2. For 2 nights and more, we require 50% deposit of your total bookings to confirm reservations.

3. For your functions or events such as weddings and seminars, please contact our Sales Office direct line +6334-434-8987.

4. Send bill arrangement is only applicable for companies with approved credit line facilities.

5. Mode of payment will either be in cash, credit cards, bank transfer and direct bank deposit to our bank account.

Cancellation & Refund

1. Cancellation must be made in writing at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date.

2. For cancellation received less than 72 hours prior to arrival, a 10% processing plus a one night cancellation fee will be charged.

3. One (1) night deposit will be forfeited for no show and un-advised cancellation. If company account, one (1) night contracted rate will be charged.

4. Cancellation of group bookings (minimum of 5 rooms) must be made in writing 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival.

5. Refund of deposit will be processed within the period of 2 weeks. We charged 10% processing fee for every refund process.

6. We accommodate rescheduling of rooms reservation without processing fee upon availability of rooms provided notice in writing could be furnished by guests at least 14 days prior to scheduled date of arrival.

7. Within the cancellation period of 72 hours or after you have checked-in, should you shorten your stay, you will be charged a minimum of one night's accommodation or 50% of the accommodation or package value of the balance of your stay.
